Cannabis companies go on acquisition spree for US stores and tech companies

Cannabis firms continued to expand their footprint through to the end of 2021, with the lucrative US market being the strategic focus of many acquisitions, covering retail chains, growers and tech companies. Curaleaf Holdings has bought Tryke Companies and Los Sueños Farms’ dispensaries; Jushi’s acquisition of NuLeaf brings its total to 39 dispensaries; Columbian firm Flora growth has bought tech company Vessel Brand; Canadian firm The Green Organic Dutchman has bought Galaxie brands; and Greenlane Holdings has bought vape maker DaVinci.
