CBD under Danish law: Denmark regulatory report

Cultivation of hemp with less than 0.2% THC content is legal in Denmark.

However, some aspects of its regulation are unclear, and may be established later by enforcement.

Ingestible products with a high CBD content should be authorised as novel foods.

From 1st July 2018, hemp-containing food and cosmetic products with a THC content of less than 0.2% are legal.

CBD e-liquids must comply with advertising restrictions in place for tobacco products.
