CBD to treat concussion disorders? Retired NHL players join study

A charity for retired ice hockey players is teaming up with one of the world’s biggest cannabis companies and a medical research body to research how CBD treatment impacts concussion-related disorders.

The study will investigate how cannabidiol could be used to treat disorders related to chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), including depression, post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD) and progressive dementia.
