A growing number of Canadians are turning to legal sources for cannabis, according to a new survey commissioned by the government.
The 2022 Canadian Cannabis Survey of more than 10,000 cannabis-users over the age of 16 found that 61% said they had bought cannabis from a legal storefront – up from 53% in 2021. In 2019, the first year after cannabis was legalised in Canada, only 24% of respondents reported buying their cannabis from a legal storefront.
