FDA warning flags up delta-8 THC as the likely next target for US enforcement

Enforcement action against companies pushing the limits on marketing delta-8 THC products in the US is likely following a consumer update and a health advisory from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The FDA said it had noted delta-8 being marketed for therapeutic or medical uses and products whose presentation and marketing could be construed as being appealing to children as part of a consumer update stemming from a rise in related notifications.
