- US Virgin Islands: The US Virgin Islands Office of Cannabis Regulations has approved proposed rules to regulate recreational cannabis sales, press reports. The proposed rules are now under a public comment period until 18th March. The rules allow for cannabis in all major product formats, including beverages and edibles, which are limited to 10 mg THC per serving and 100 mg per package. Adults can possess up to 2 oz of cannabis, 14 g of concentrate, and 1 oz of cannabis products. Cannabis lounges are also allowed and regulated under the proposed rules.

US Virgin Islands: Governor Albert Bryan has signed into law the Virgin Islands Cannabis Use Act, which legalises recreational cannabis. It allows for possession of 2 oz of cannabis, 14 g of concentrate, and 1 oz of cannabis products. A tax of at least 18% will be levied on recreational cannabis sales (but not on medical cannabis sales) and a $0.50 per g tax on cultivators. Edibles will be capped at 10 mg of THC per serving and 100 mg per package. Bryan also announced that people with simple cannabis possession convictions may apply for pardons through the Virgin Islands Department of Justice.

The bill must be approved by the governor, who has voiced support for legalisation, before becoming law. It would allow for possession of 2 oz of cannabis, 14 g of concentrate, and 1 oz of cannabis products. A tax of at least 18% would be levied on recreational cannabis sales (but not on medical cannabis sales) and a $0.50 tax per g tax on cultivators. Edibles would be capped at 10 mg per serving and 100 mg per package.
