US-China tariff pause brings relief to cannabinoid firms, but outlook is hazy

Goods imported from China to the US will see a 115% reduction in tariffs as of 14th May.

The reduction should immediately benefit companies in the cannabinoids sector, given the wide array of items essential for conducting business that continue to be imported from China. However, the abrupt, temporary change offers no real certainty for long-term business planning.
