Legalisation is ‘least bad solution’ to cannabis consumption in France

The senator leading a bid to legalise recreational cannabis in France has called legalisation “the least bad solution” to addressing cannabis consumption in the country, and has said he does not expect any measure to pass.

Socialist senator Gilbert-Luc Devinaz told CBD-Intel that he would submit a bill on legalisation before the end of 2022 so that it might be debated and voted on during the first legislative session of 2023.
