Poland’s next coalition government may take a more liberal stance on cannabis

A coalition of centre-right, liberal, and left-wing forces is the most likely to form a new government in Poland before the end of the year, following elections held on 15th October.

This should mean an end to eight years of rule by the right-wing Law and Justice (PiS) government. While cannabinoids did not play a major role in the campaign that preceded the 15th October election, statements by some opposition leaders indicate Poland’s new government could adopt a more liberal approach to their legislation than the incumbent conservative government.
