CBD firm founder’s personal post deemed an unauthorised health claim by UK ASA

Even the most general of positive statements can be construed as a health claim, according to the latest CBD ruling from the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).

A new ruling from the ASA on a post by the founder of Supreme CBD, Anthony Fowler, found issue with statements he made on social media, including: “Most […] supplements, you take it, you don’t feel any different. With CBD after, like, a few days, you feel a big difference. Then you really, really get the benefits”.
