Australian company to set up medical cannabis factory in Malta

MGC Pharmaceuticals has signed a deal to distribute cannabis-based pharmaceutical products throughout Europe and to produce and cultivate medical cannabis in Malta.
The Australian company made the distribution agreement with AM Mangion, a Maltese company specialising in the distribution of products in the medical sector.
MGC will supply an “initial range” of products which AM Mangion will distribute through Malta, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and the UK – and also in the Middle East and North Africa.
Other products will be included for distribution on an agreed ad hoc basis, MGC said.
