US - Florida: Senate Bill 1676 has been passed by the House and now heads to the governor’s desk. Among other things, it would prohibit hemp-derived products from using packaging, labelling, marketing, and advertising that is attractive to children and would prescribe penalties for anyone who sells hemp-derived products to under-21s.

US - Florida: House Bill 1387 has been passed by the House and now heads to the Senate. It would impose stronger child protection provisions on medical cannabis products by prohibiting certain packaging and advertising considered attractive to children.

US - Florida: The Florida Department of Health has issued an emergency rule setting limits on daily dosages for medical cannabis under Florida Statute 381.986(4)(f). The daily dosage amount is set by product type as follows: edibles 60 mg THC; vaporisers 350 mg THC; oral products, such as tinctures and capsules 200 mg THC; sublingual products 190 mg THC; suppositories 195 mg THC; topicals 150 mg THC; and smokable cannabis 2.025 g. The daily dosage is multiplied to determine the 70-day supply limit (or 35-day supply limit in the case of smokable cannabis) that physicians can prescribe.
