Germany set to introduce HHC ban, but other semi-synthetics may take its place

HHC is likely to become illegal very soon in Germany, as the country’s Federal Council prepares to pass a government decree on the subject on 14th June.

If voted by the Bundesrat (federal council) at the end of next week, the ordinance, presented by the Ministry of Health, will amend the country’s law on psychoactive substances to introduce a nationwide ban on HHC and other semi-synthetic cannabinoids.

The new amendment is expected to pass the upper house’s scrutiny, which would make it applicable at a federal level.
