New studies explore how cannabis can help improve women’s menstrual health

Clinical trials are investigating how CBD can improve menstrual health and treat conditions such as premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and perhaps even endometriosis.

Canopy Growth recently published the results of its recent trial, which reported that CBD can reduce some of the uncomfortable side effects of menstruation. The six-month, randomised clinical trial studied the effects of CBD on symptoms ranging from cramping and bloating to back pain and mood shifts.
