Optimism blooming as Uruguay’s first medical cannabis harvest begins

Yvy Life Sciences, the first company authorised to grow medical-grade cannabis plants in Uruguay, has started harvesting its first crops for this purpose.

Co-founder Kevin Nafte told CBD-Intel the company began harvesting flowers with a high level of CBD in the first week of April; the harvest of flowers for medical cannabis, with higher THC levels, will begin in early May.
