CBD itself is not regulated in Peru, but it is the interpretation of CannIntelligence that a specific licence is required to sell hemp products.

Industrial hemp was legalised in February 2019 by a regulation that differentiates hemp from medical cannabis depending on the THC content.

A regulation on the medicinal use of cannabis was passed in February 2023.
