Virginia submitted its Plan to Regulate Hemp Production to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) in January for review and approval. In February, the USDA sent feedback, and Virginia is now reviewing its plan again, with the expectation that it will will become effective on 31st October 2020. This report provides a snapshot overview of the current regulations in the state of Virginia, covering extracts, finished products, and import/export restrictions.
