Thailand’s new PM vows to outlaw recreational cannabis once again

Thailand’s cannabis free-for-all could come to a halt within months after the country’s new prime minister, Srettha Thavisin, has promised to tighten the law to make recreational use and sale illegal once again.

The Ministry of Public Health has also announced that it is forming a panel to study cannabis legislation, with an emphasis on allowing it only for medical purposes.
