Industry challenge under way as France officially brings in CBD regulations at last

French CBD shops will continue not to be permitted to sell CBD flowers or hemp leaves to consumers, following the publication of a decree to that effect.

The order, issued on 30th December despite having been criticised in advance on various grounds by European authorities, explicitly forbids such products while also outlining permitted THC levels in food ingredients and providing a framework to definitively bring CBD products out of a regulatory grey area.

However, the CBD industry is already planning to fight back against the regulation.
