British Cannabis to manufacture Elixinol for UK and EU after slip-up on novel food

Elixinol will continue to be produced for the UK under a licensing agreement with British Cannabis despite the company pulling out of the UK and European markets after missing the boat on novel food applications.

The company was keen on pushing full spectrum CBD products in every country and made significant investments in Europe to support that but then realised the UK would be a better strategic move. Unfortunately by that point it had missed the chance to submit a novel food application, CBD-Intel was told.
