Father’s frustration as legal hold-ups keep medical cannabis out of Georgia

Licensed medical cannabis patients in the US state of Georgia can legally possess oils with less than 5% THC, but they can’t legally buy it. The Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission was set to vote tomorrow, 25th January, on rules governing the cannabis program, but pending legal appeals are blocking access.

“We’re asking people to break the law,” said Sebastien Cotte, an activist and father of a boy with a terminal seizure disorder.
