Germany enforces partial recreational cannabis law after ditching last obstacle

Monday will bring partial recreational cannabis legalisation to Germany, after fears that the enforcement of the country’s already approved regulation law would be delayed until well beyond the set date of 1st April.

After passing in the Bundestag (the lower main chamber of Germany’s parliament) at the end of February, the bill landed at the Federal Council (Bundesrat).
