Whether the left or the right ends up in power – and that is difficult to predict – some form of debate around cannabis could be on the cards following forthcoming general elections in Spain
It is difficult to predict which party or coalition will lead a government after the election on 28th April. No party at present seems to be in a position to achieve a large enough majority to form a government, and post-election coalition negotiations will almost certainly be necessary.
But whatever the outcome at the polls, cannabis and CBD could be an issue up for legislative debate as it has enjoyed support from both sides of the political spectrum.
