In our latest look at Poland, we find that THC is a regulated substance, thus all the products on the market which have not obtained a medical authorisation must be THC-free. Cannabis (>0.2 THC) is classified as a narcotic, the processing of which carries a possible minimum three-year prison sentence, and according to our interpretation, the extraction of CBD from cannabis falls under “processing” and would be illegal.
The growing of hemp (<0.2 THC) is only legal for seed production and the food, cosmetics, textile, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
