The man leading political efforts to cut cannabis use in France by legalising it

National Assembly member Christophe Bex hopes to spearhead efforts to legalise cannabis in France and could draft legislation aimed at doing just that.

As chair of an Assembly study group, Bex will be in charge of supervising and writing reports about recreational and medicinal cannabis and CBD and interviewing specialists on the subject. He succeeds Robin Reda, one of the few right-wing Assembly members to support cannabis legalisation.
