Tilray Brands continues to show signs of confidence in the future of cannabis-infused drinks by adding more beverage firms to its portfolio and building a distribution network that could be leveraged if cannabis is legalised at a federal level in the US.
The cannabis firm’s CEO Irwin Simon has likened the potential of the cannabis-infused beverages industry to that of the alcohol business before the ending of Prohibition in the early 1930s and believes it is a matter of when cannabis becomes legal in the US, rather than if it will.
